Meishai is Danish haircare built around a simple belief: high performance and sensitivity should never be opposites.

Founded in 2021 by Danish hairdresser Katja Rosasco, Meishai grew from more than 15 years of professional experience and her own lifelong experience with allergies. After years of working with high-performing products she could not use herself, Katja set out to create haircare that would bring professional results, considered formulation and design into the same space.

Meishai begins with the scalp. Rather than offering quick fixes, the brand focuses on giving hair and scalp the conditions to return to their natural balance. Its less is more philosophy removes what is unnecessary and keeps what genuinely supports healthy hair, creating a considered ritual designed to work over time, not simply create an instant effect.

Meishai formulas are fragrance-free, vegan and certified by Asthma Allergy Nordic. The range is formulated without silicones, colourants, hormone-disrupting ingredients and harsh sulfates, with a focus on both performance and scalp tolerance. Meishai products also carry the highest A rating in Kemiluppen by the Danish Consumer Council THINK Chemicals.

Founded in Denmark, Meishai extends its less-is-more philosophy beyond formulation. The brand reduces unnecessary packaging, uses larger formats to lower plastic consumption and chooses recyclable materials with a high proportion of recycled content. The intention is simple: buy better, use thoughtfully and create less waste.
